Introduction and unboxing
Apple as usual reveals its SE (Special edition) phones after every 4 years or so. The new Iphone SE 2020 is the special edition having all the latest features and specifications in a low range budget. Just like Apple released Iphone SE after Iphone 6s with all the features of Iphone 6s in low price as compared to iphone 6s. Similarly Iphone SE 2020 is the latest edition in this regard. It is a low budget phone having almost same specifications as latest Iphone 11 and Iphone 11 pro. So this is a good advantage for users. Moreover we will discuss its specifications in detail further.
Apple Iphone SE’s box comes with usual things including adapter, lightning cables etc. Unfortunately Iphone SE 2020 comes with a usual 5W adapter instead of 18W adapter which comes with Iphone 11 pro series. We get a lightning cable and EarPods and also two Apple logo stickers. In addition to that we get a sim ejector pin and some quick guides.
Performance and UI
Apple Iphone SE 2020 is built on hexa-core lightning and thunder processor with A13 bionic chip. Remember this is the same chip which was used in latest Apple iphone 11 Pro. Iphone SE used 4 core graphics chipset for gaming. It comes in 3 variants 64GB 3GB RAM, 128GB 3GB RAM, and 256GB 3GB RAM.
Apple Iphone SE 2020 has IOS 13 which was latest when it was released. The user interface is also same as Iphone 11 pro and will be upgraded to all future updates including minor and major updates.
Design and Display
When we see its design we come to know that Apple Iphone SE 2020 is same as Iphone 7 and Iphone 8 designs. It has same back mad of aluminum as that of Iphone 7 and has colors like Iphone 8. The same classical home button and same camera placement designs etc. give a look of classical Iphones.
The 4.7 inches retina HD display with 16 M colors and 3-D touch feature is same as that in Iphone 6s,7 and 8. Iphone SE 2020 has 750 x 1334 pixels of resolution. The display has Ion-strengthened glass with 625 nits max brightness.
Cameras
The cameras are same as Iphone 11 pro but the placement is same as Iphone 7 both front and back because it has the same design as Iphone 7 and 8. The The main camera is a 12MP camera. It can record upto [email protected]/30/60fps, and its lower resolutions also. The additional features of Iphone SE 2020’s camera are HDR, Panorama, and quad LED dual-tone flash.
Coming to the front camera we see that it is placed on the top middle of phone just as classical design. It is a 7MP.It can record upto 1080 pixels @ 30fps. The additional features are face detection, HDR etc.
Battery and charging
Iphone SE 2020 has non-removable Li-Ion 1821 mAh. The battery is also same as that of Iphone 7. But the quality and life is better than that because it is the second generation on SE phone presented by Apple.
The phone comes with a 18W charger which is suitable according to its battery capacity. The phone has same lightning cable and can charge quickly. According to the company it can charge upto 50% in 30 mintes.
Other Features
The phone comes in 3 colors black, white and red. According to my opinion red color is the most beautiful color and also mostly advertised by the company. Presently the red color is in demand. The sensors provided with Iphone SE 2020 are proximity, gyro, Fingerprint (front-mounted), accelerometer, compass, and barometer. All the features are approximately same as Iphone 7 and 8 but is better phone wih a low budget than Iphone 7 and 8.
